What is Computer ?

A computer is a sophisticated electronic device designed to perform various tasks swiftly and accurately. It consists of hardware components like the central processing unit (CPU), memory (RAM), storage devices (hard drive, SSD), input devices (keyboard, mouse), output devices (monitor, printer), and connectivity ports. These components work together to execute instructions and process data.

Computers operate based on binary code, using combinations of 0 and 1 to represent information. They utilize software, such as operating systems and applications, to facilitate user interaction and perform specific functions. Operating systems like Windows, macOS, and Linux manage hardware resources and provide a user interface, while applications like word processors, web browsers, and games enable users to perform tasks.

Computers have revolutionized countless industries and aspects of modern life, enhancing productivity, communication, entertainment, and research capabilities. They are used in businesses for accounting, data analysis, and communication, in education for research and learning, in healthcare for diagnostics and record-keeping, and in entertainment for gaming and media consumption.

With the advancement of technology, computers have become smaller, faster, and more powerful, leading to the development of portable devices like laptops, tablets, and smartphones. The evolution of computing continues to shape the way we live and work, driving innovation and progress in virtually every field imaginable.

What is Electrostatics?Class12

Electrostatics : Definition: It is branch of science which deals with the study of charges at rest. It is also known as static electricity or frictional electricity. Electric Charge: Electric charge is an Intrinsic property of the elementary particles like electrons, protons etc.of which all the objects are made up of. Quantization of charge: The quantization of charge means that charge can exist only as integral multiple of electronic charge i.e. q=+-ne,where n is an integer. • It was first suggested by by faraday. Charge conservation: In an isolated system, the total net charge of the system always remains constant. Charge is always associated with mass : Charge can not exist without mass though mass can be exist without charge. Additivity of charge:  Total charge of a system is the algebraic sum of all individual charges in the system. Charge is invariant:  Charge is independent of the frame of reference. Coulomb's Law:  Coulomb's law states that the magnitude of ...
